Welcome to my story.
I'm a multifaceted individual who finds joy in exploring museums and parks, delights in travel adventures, and has recently discovered the satisfaction of building with Legos. When on vacay, I can easily immerse myself in a book and devour it in a day. Being out in nature rejuvenates me, and I relish every moment spent outdoors - minus bugs and other critters😬. Cooking for myself, family and friends brings me immense pleasure, and I'm known to indulge in binge-watching sessions of K-dramas. As a wife, I share my life with an awesome human being💗 who understands me - most of the time😆, and as a mother, I'm blessed to have nurtured and befriend three incredible human beings🤩🤩🤩. Additionally, I revel in the role of a grandmother to a spirited and wonderful grandson. I used to consider myself a “perfectionist”. Life has taught me that it’s okay to be messy; it’s okay to be vulnerable; it’s okay to walk into a room and not have the anwers. There are profound benefits in choosing to be open to what’s possible and in taking note of the potential for learning - it’s all around us! There's a wealth of experiences and passions within me, and perhaps as we collaborate, you'll discover even more facets of the me that I am.
Before founding my company, I embarked on a diverse professional journey spanning over a decade in the financial industry, followed by nine plus years in the administrative realm of education, all while nurturing my family. However, a burning desire for a more purposeful existence led me to retire from being an employee and step into the role of an entrepreneur. But this transition wasn't instantaneous; it required deep reflection on what purpose truly meant to me and how to embody it.
During this introspective period, I made an amazing discovery about myself. Despite believing I wasn't naturally inclined towards people, I realized that I actually thrived on human interaction. The missing piece was establishing healthy boundaries – determining how, with whom, and in what capacity I engaged with others. Identifying this crucial factor allowed me to redefine my purpose: to support individuals who, like me, were adaptable and creative but struggled to live authentically, unmasked and unburdened.
Driven by my passion for organization, I began assisting family and friends in creating environments that were beneficial to their well-being. This work ultimately led to the establishment of Jessica Organizes You, LLC (JOY) in January 2009.
As I delved deeper into my work, I observed that many of my clients grappled with feelings of overwhelm and stagnation, echoing my own past experiences. Recognizing a shared struggle rooted in societal pressures and personal expectations, I initiated heartfelt conversations during our collaborative projects. These discussions unearthed profound insights into their behaviors, habits, and thought patterns, often catalyzing newfound commitment and clarity in their endeavors.
Fuelled by an insatiable curiosity and a commitment to lifelong learning, I immersed myself in the study of human behavior, life transitions, and neurodiversity. This pursuit illuminated my own identity and purpose, crystallizing my mission as a Coach and Productivity Consultant: to guide individuals in unlocking their innate potential and navigating their unique paths towards purposeful and authentic living.
In every interaction, I foster an environment of trust, empathy, and respect, where your goals are paramount. My commitment to your growth is unwavering, grounded in a deep-seated desire to see you thrive on your terms.
