JOY (Jessica Organizes You) was established in January of 2006. Prior to launching the company, I spent ten plus years working in the financial industry and another 9 years on the administrative side of education, all the while taking care of my beautiful family. I spent many years happily creating welcoming and orderly spaces for friends and family.
Working one on one with a client brings mutual reward. The client finds order and order out chaos was rewarding The idea of helping others transform their lives in this manner was a huge rush so I decided that it was time to switch from employee to business owner. Individualization, empathy, respect, discretion and a strong desire for you to reach your goals are just some of the qualities JOY brings to every project.
What JOY offers is an opportunity to help you realize your best productive self. What does that mean? Simply put, look around you, your space, your life. What’s causing you to waste precious time? Are you late to work or an event because you can’t locate necessary items? Do you always feel like you have nothing to wear? Have you discovered that you bought more than one of the same items because you forgot where you put it or just simply forgot you bought it in the first place? Do you love to cook or would like to start but your kitchen doesn’t lend well to the task? Are there rooms in your home that you do not enter because the clutter is overwhelming? On the flip side do you have a room that’s underwhelming and would love to transform it? Would you like to move but the thought of filtering through years of memories and collections daunting?
So many of our possessions are tied to emotions; “this reminds me of my childhood”, “These are all my child’s clothes/toys”, “I inherited these from my loved one” “ that’s my ex’s, or that was given to me by my ex”, “that was the first thing I bought when I got my first job”, “do you know how much that cost”, “I was told never to get rid of it”, “ these are from another lifetime” and the list goes on and on. If any of these things strike a chord, its time for JOY!
Take a breath and let JOY in, and together we will journey to your most organized and productive self.
